This is a true story of a little girl growing up in Franklin Tennessee in the 1940's in a small rural town where everyone knew everybody, and what everyone was doing. Many of those people were her relatives, so she was doubly encouraged to live a life of the straight and narrow.Happy times brought many happy and warm memories to both young and old alike in the Old South where everyone helped and encouraged others to be the best that they could be.The author's story of her childhood and family is both typical in many ways, and wished for by many in other ways.She intends to not only reminisce about her exciting and full growing up years, but to also inspire others to take time to reflect upon and look at their own growing up years as something to cherish and appreciate the uniqueness of their individual story.
