Plenty of meat in his story

The Barker method of growing up in California was a very good read. Michael, I thought made it interesting and gave you an intimate feel of his family life. One would think that one day we are going to find out "The Rest" of Michael's story. MS. Waitsfield , Vermont

A Blast From The Past

This is the most entertaining and really funny biography I've read in many years. The colorful characters leap from the page as Barker reveals facinating glimpses of show business,a world at war, and bigger-than-life family members doing it the California way. This is less a personal biography than it is a poignant series of stories of very interesting lives well led.
