I bought this book because I know Jack Coghill and I loved hearing his stories growing up. He really is a unique character who's life is so intertwined with the development of Alaska as a state that it is great reading. Like stories of him as an undertaker at the age of 12 or working on Alaska's constitution or turning in tanned skins to pay for fuel oil. Anyway, it is a great quick read.
