Jamaican journalist Barbara Blake Hannah did her GROWING OUT in Swinging London, becoming the first Black female reporter on British TV on the 1968 Thames TV "TODAY" show, until racism deprived her of her job. An assignment to promote the Jamaican film "The Harder They Come" took her back home in 1972 to begin GROWING UP as a reggae-loving Rastawoman. In this biography of the second half of her very adventurous life, she name drops Bob Marley, Fidel Castro, Stevie Wonder, Saddam Hussein, and the events that take her to cities such as Hollywood, Leipzig, Vienna and New York from her base in Beautiful Jamaica.
