WANT TO TAKE A MOMENT to introduce to you Part I of a two-part series -- Growing Spiritually With God. It is very impactful with scriptural support and necessary for enhancing new members' orientation of basic Christian introduction to the Body of Christ, not your church doctrine, but God and Christ. There are specific topics that new members of the Body of Christ should know and feel comfortable in their own spirit as to why a Christian (follower of Christ) believes what they believe. Rarely do spiritual leaders lecture on these topics in their ministry because of scrutiny or fear of the congregation. One important phrase to remember: God is a God of order, structure and authority; and He will not break the integrity of His word to please anyone. The Bible tells us that "Heaven and Earth" will pass away before one "Jot or Tittle" of this word is changed -- Mathew 5:18. This series is designed to open your spiritual eyes to the changes that are affecting the Christian Church through political decision, false doctrinal teachings and increased sensitivity to the moving of God in your life, family and community. To develop a clear understanding of God and purpose we must first return to our original state of being spiritual -- "Connecting With My Spirit As To Who I Am" to connect with the teachings of God spiritually. Part II of the series, Growing Spiritually With God, will carry you deeper into the understanding of Prayer & Fasting. There are different types of Fasts and languages of Prayer. We deal with the issues of Spiritual Leadership; speaking and standing firm against those issues that are contrary to the Word of God. Series II will cover Spiritual Leadership dealing with the issues of divorce, true forgiveness of the heart and restoration back into fellowship with Christ and church. Spiritual Leaders have to know when they are hearing from God and not being influenced by the world. Finally, facing the challenge that many believe is irrelevant to the church and that is giving of Tithes, Offering and Sacrifices. Our first impressions of Biblical text or messages are generally through the influence, traditions and opinions of others. This is how we gather and analyze what is being said or what we read, and is being introduced through other men's ideological or theological views. The objective of both parts of the series is to help develop a strong sense for the word of God, Christ and the Holy Spirit in every aspect of your life.
