Data of water levels of each Tahsil of Pune districts is given in the tabular form. Groundwater scenario of Baramati tahsil is given in chapter five. The location of Baramati Tahsil is shown by map, climate and rainfall of Baramati area is explained. Geomorphology and drainage system of Baramati Tahsil area is given graphically, which is very rare information to readers. Groundwater sampling is done by using scientific method suggested for water sample collection is given in chapter six. Selection of groundwater sampling sites, sampling frequency and sampling methods for water collection for analysis is given. Chapter seven is devoted for water analysis. In this chapter how various physical, chemical, biological parameters detected is specified with detail experimental protocols. In the chapter eight groundwater quality for agricultural purpose in Baramati tahsil area, data is given graphically. The data of four seasons of successive two years are presented here. This graphical presentation gives clear information about the quality of agricultural water in Baramati Tahsil area.
