It's all fun and games till somebody loses their life.
When the concierge of the Trident Casino is found murdered, red-headed private detective Bethany Knox gets called in to assist the police with finding her killer; she knew the victim, and the people she worked for, and the dangerous games they like to play. But there's a catch - the concierge wasn't playing by the rules, involved in a complex web of grift and graft involving the biggest players in town. But was it grift, graft, or a grudge that got her killed?
Getting involved means putting herself at risk - Bethany's past is catching up with her and she doesn't know who she can trust, or how she can find the evidence she needs. When the people who are supposed to be the good guys are working with the bad guys, what is she supposed to do?
Can she find the murderer without getting played?
