Grieving Hammonds Rouge is about my journey with grief from the moment I decided to move to Maryland for a new start, to the moment I witnessed my mom take her last breath. Over the last two years I have reflected deeply about grief and how it can transform you into a greater understanding of purpose and who you are meant to be on this earth. Even though there were many things that I felt my mother and I did not settle before she transitioned home, I feel like we are working through them now as she is in the spirit world. I am grateful for our second chance to rebuild our relationship as mother and daughter -- even if our spirits are connecting from two different worlds.
