A friend gave me this book to help me and my family cope with the recent death of our father. It is a great book and greatly appreciated. It helped me cope with all the feelings I and my family were having. Sometimes it helps to see the written word when dealing with such a loss. I highly recommend this book. God Bless.
A Great Book, A Great Gift

The book eloquently describes the difficult journey taken after the death of a spouse. The author's poetry, and accompanying prose explaining the poems, offer vignettes of the survivor's feelings and experiences at various time intervals as he (or she) walks along on the arduous path of learning to live alone. Each poem offers a different perspective and collectively they shed some welcomed light on what is most certainly a dark journey. Read it, even if you have not lost a spouse, but especially if you have; it offers solice and guidance. When my friend's dad died, I gave a copy to him for his mom. This gift was greatly appreciated and, I expect, will help her as she is now starting on her own grief journey. I thank the author for writing this great book.
