A Great Read!

I am an avid reader from cookbooks to mystery novels. I bought this book because I sit next to the author's stepson at work. Ms. Heymann was coming to town to perform a book signing - so I purchased the book, had her sign it and took it home to read. First of all, I loved the setting; living in San Antonio, I have made many trips to Corpus Christi. I loved the author's description of Ocean Drive and the restaurants frequented by "locals." I believe this is Ms. Heymann's first novel and she did an excellent job developing the characters and of making one want to keep turning the pages to see what happens next! This was a very enjoyable read and I look forward to her next book!
