Madden, a wayward and troublesome teen, the black sheep of his 8 persons family struggling to fit in and find his way in the city streets of Buffalo, misunderstood by his 7 other siblings Madden did what any other fatherless teen would do... He let the streets raise him.

After joining a group of other wayward boys from the neighborhood, Madden and his crew became a band of brothers, the family he always wanted and longed to belong to. After a string of mischievous acts that would land Madden in juvenile detention and being released under a curfew into the hands of an angry mother; madden continued to disobey and forgo breaking his curfew many times,

Madden was back in front of a judge, but this time by the hands of a tired and angry mother who was fed up with his rebellious ways that were becoming a bad example for his other siblings making it a difficult challenge for his mom to raise a functioning household. Faced with a 3-year violation prison sentence, mom would plead with the judge to place him under the supervision of his father, except his father lives in Florida.

With the judge's agreement to release Madden under strict conditions to never return to Buffalo, Madden was suddenly driven to the Greyhound Bus Station, headed to the south to leave all that he knew behind.

Madden boarded the Greyhound hugging and kissing his mother goodbye for what would feel like the end of life as he knew it, and the journey of Greyhound Love began.
