The Amish way of life is a simple life. John is confused way seeing the way his family lives has always been a form of tourist attraction. He has made up his mind that he would rather stay in the faith and never stray from it to become part of the crowds he dreaded so much. His friend Samuel on the other hand couldn't wait to venture out. During Rumspringa Samuel bolts free and leaves John behind on the farm. After some time pass Samuel has contacted John and asked him to meet in town. John reluctantly leaves the farm to meet his friend and join him during Rumspringa. John then meets Kiera and falls instantly. He has now come to a crossroads and doesn't know which path to follow.
