Green Pastures: Poems From Our Westward Move

Green Pastures is a Christian poetry collection about finding hope during difficult times. The poems reflect on our family's move from Maryland to South Dakota in March of 2021. In addition to addressing the heartache involved with moving three teenage girls cross-country during a pandemic, the poems focus on the many blessings and beauties of our new home. The book is arranged chronologically and traces the whole process, from our decision to move to the unfolding of our new lives in South Dakota. The topics addressed range from animals, plants, and flowers to allegories, barns and a night at the barrel races. Green Pastures is my second poetry collection. Timewise it picks up where Silver Highlights: Poems from the Middle Years left off at the end of 2020.
