Green manufacturing practices in Ethiopian cement industry

Green Manufacturing is a new and important agenda of the world emerging as a solution for sustainability-related problems in manufacturing industries. Despite, its urgency to be practiced, the world communities and researchers even didn't understand the issue in a consistent and similar fashion. With respect to these, African countries like that Ethiopia are strongly working on the attraction of a number of manufacturing industries while the GM practices start from policy practices to the identification of drivers for and barriers to GM yet needs concern. It is fact that determining and describing the practice level of GM and identifying the drivers for and barriers to GM practices are a must to have a good understanding of the issue and to pave the way for improvement of this blessed GM practice in the manufacturing industry.
