Green Card: The Untold Stories

I have a word for the persons who sometimes get involved in fake marriages but are changing people lives directly or indirectly. Sometimes a compromise is not worth it. Condolences to those who lost their lives still waiting for their green card. They endured many things to get the card, but it was not worth it in the end. Sometimes people are too far gone in the situation and they just have to rough it out. Many lives get changed drastically; the children of some of the women and men are also impacted when their parents are unable to come home. Some children are marred for the rest of their young life; they miss out on so much because of what their parents had to endure for a piece of the American dream. The message here is to not give up sure for unsure.

There are legal ways to get a green card and, like everything else, there are other ways. There are many arranged marriages where citizens will take money, and get married so one can get their green card. This is actually a felony. A citizen who is being used for papers can also be charged with a federal crime.

Life is built on choices, and sometimes we need the relevant information before we make certain decisions. This is called making a calculated decision. No one should endure having a foot on their necks, or suffering abuse, be it mental, emotional or physical for a green card. We must put a value on our lives, whether male or female. For a green card, many lives were changed, and some never recover from the damage done. Consider this a wake up call to a very harsh reality with a promise of a better life, and a desire to provide a better opportunity for families, but is destructive at its very core.
