good for overall trial picture & circumstances of the trials

This book spends a good deal of time introducing the background of the trial, and in my opinion does a good job of providing a bird's eye-view of the trial, but does not get into specific legal arguments in detail, if that's what you're looking for. Perhaps, the transgressions of the accused are obvious to many people, but I'd still like to know what they were charged with.Overall, I found it somewhat informative, and it lists all the people involved in the case. Also provides a good variety of trials, ranging from that of Socrates to the current period.I'd recommend this if one's not looking for book going into great (legal) depth of the trial and its circumstances, especially if you're looking for something that's more like a light read with lots of info!
