An excellent, illustrated, collection of steam driven battleships

This book is a fascinating dive into the era of steam battleships which includes many of the warships of WW2. From the old battleships of the era where wind and sail was being blown out and steam was only just picking up (puns absolutely and unapologetically intended). This book covers a large number of ships, including experimental ships. It includes ships such as the IJN Mikasa, the USS Maine, the HMS Dreadnaught, the Bismarck, the HMS Hood, and many more up to 1944. All the illustrations are beautifully detailed as well.
