Great New World is written from the perspective of wide-eyed secondary school student Axol O'Lerpler, who, fleeing from angry, meth-snorting upperclassmen, falls by accident into a great new world. There, he meets his mentor, Steve Partridge, becomes gainfully employed in a Fetus Factory, develops a close friendship with the great, great, great, great grandson of failed playwright William Shakeshaft, and has lots of sex with his sort-of-wife, Olivia Wild. Finding himself in a society that is unencumbered by out-dated values, Axol experiences a secular/spiritual awakening and a very good time.
