This volume contains abstracts of volume 10 of Grayson County, Virginia deeds and land records, spanning the years 1849-1855. From the start of this book, the new county seat in Grayson County had been established, in the town of Independence. Whereas the most recent volumes have included two deed books in each volume, the deed books for libers 10 and 11 are very large books. As a result, this book is published separately from Book 11. This book carries on the simpler abstraction of each deed, rather than direct transcriptions as found in volumes 3-7. Each abstraction contains the most important information from each indenture, including all geographical and genealogical information. A full name index is found at the end of the book.
