It has taken me a lifetime to understand the meaning of that clich . The journey to put together this compilation of short stories has surely been an adventure. Spending time with my old works has allowed me to reconnect lovingly with fond characters, simple storylines, and for good or bad, the moments in my own life from which these works flowed. Overall, seeing this work come to fruition has been a great work of love, and one that I have documented through my short stories and personal insights about the journey to find my voice as a writer and gay man. It is with great satisfaction that I share the enclosed work with all who care to make the trip.
