Jack Redman, a brilliant engineer and owner of Redman Industries in Texas, stumbles upon an accidental scientific breakthrough while experimenting with a supposed perpetual motion machine. As Jack struggles to refine the invention with the help of his colleagues, he also wrestles with strained relationships-particularly with his teenage son Robert, still grieving the loss of his mother but showing talent of his own through inventive projects. The deeper Jack and his team go into experimenting with gravity manipulation, the clearer it becomes that their discovery could change the world-or destroy it if it falls into the wrong hands.
