Granny's Country Recipes

These 89 recipes had been collected by my Granny and given to my mother. My mom kept them in the kitchen for as long as I can remember. Inside several filing boxes including one with strawberries and blueberries on the front, she hid all her secret recipes. Our mother left us in 2007 and the recipe box was rediscovered 17 years later in 2022, intact, in my kitchen on one of the top shelves. I felt like it was my duty to pass these recipes on to future generations. Some of the names of the recipes are odd and probably wouldn't be used today, such as Molded Asparagus Salad, but I decided to keep all the recipes true to the times they were written. Some of the ingredients used might not be relevant today, but I'm sure the savvy cook will be able to interpret what they need. I hope you enjoy the recipes as much as I have enjoyed putting them down for everyone to peruse and experiment with. Questions and comments are always welcome! This is the first edition.
