About the Author

Dr. Lisa M. Lauer is a retired professor of education who taught for 37 years and loved every minute of it. She has been a member and officer of many educational organizations, such as Kappa Delta International Honor Society and Phi Delta Kappa Honor Society.

Lauer is extremely family oriented. Together with her husband of 55 years who is her rock, she has two sons, one of whom has gone to be with God, the other who is the finest person she has ever known, and an incredible daughter-in-law who is the mother of the three perfect grandchildren to whom this book is dedicated.
