A Great Book and a Must Read!

I read this book in three days, it was a page-turner, very informative, well researched and well written. Dr. Grant dedicated ONE chapter of the book to the founder of Planned Parenthood, but you can read more about her in: "Killer Angel: A Short Biography of Planned Parenthood's Founder, Margaret Sanger" by George Grant. Grand Illusions is factual, and I can't imagine how anyone can argue that point. All you have to do is look at the end notes. There are hundreds of them, including many of Planned Parenthood's own publications. Grand Illusions is written with a Christian worldview and understandably this will not go well with many. If you have your children in the public school system, then you need to read this book!

There is nothing like this

This book is probably Grant's most important work, and it is absolutely unique among all the literature on the pro-life/pro-choice debate. No one interested in the pro-life cause has any business being without Grand Illusions, and no one interested in the pro-choice cause has any business not reading this and trying to refute it (they can't, but if they want to claim even the slightest degree of intellectual honesty, they must try). Pro-lifers are unarmed without Grand Illusions: no joke.

A necessary look at PP's efforts to promote family banning.

THE TRUTH CAN NOT BE IGNORED OR DENIED. GRANT USES DOCUMENTED FACTS TO DO WHAT SO MANY ARE AFRAID TO: EXPOSE THE DANGEROUS, RACIST, GREEDY METHODS PP USES TO LIBERATE MEN FROM RESPONSIBILITY, EXPLOIT WOMEN, AND BUTCHER BABIES. FROM IT'S BEGINNING IN 1917 TO THE PRESENT, WE GET A CLEAR TIMELINE OF HOW PP WORKS, & HOW THEY'VE MANAGED TO SURVIVE EVEN WITH THIS AGENDA. READING THIS IS VERY OVERWHELMING, BECAUSE IT'S NOT PROPAGANDA. IT'S DOCUMENTED FACT. BUT IT'S ALSO NECESSARY TO READ IT BECAUSE IGNORANCE IS DEFINITELY NOT BLISS.

And How Grand!

From the first image of Lillian Gish walking through the snow in "Way Down East" to Gloria Swanson's mad Norma Desmond poised for De Mille's close-up this luscious book is a definant must for any movie buff, student of film or photography.It has managed to capture in movie stills the granduer and awe of a time in filmdom that is no more. Accompanied by a most deverting preface by Hugo Leckey I cannot recomend it highly enough. As Norma D. says: "We had faces then" Indulge yourself and you'll agree!

Every American should read this book.

With meticulous scholarship, Grant exposes the racist, elitist, unscientific and subversive policies of Planned Parenthood and the free ride they have received from the American government, media and academia. The details in any one chapter would be a devestating indictment, taken together they show a horrifying pattern of Orwellian activity. The chapter on abortion-related medical studies (and Planned Parenthood's suppression of them) alone has probably saved lives. This is required reading for every parent, person of color, school official and especially for anyone who works with Planned Parenthood or sees them as a benevolent or merely misguided organization. Keep in mind that this will not be light reading (a bazillion footnotes) and it will shock and anger you, but it will be an informative and eye-opening page-turner.
