Book Overview

Jefferson Murphy's Grafted-In traces the Biblical narrative of many non-Jewish women and men who have chosen to become "grafted-in" to the Whole House of Israel, and highlights those non-Jewish women who became grafted-in to the lineage of YAHSHUA (Jesus).

In Mr. Murphy's The Carpenter's Apprentice Trilogy (his first three publications), grafted-in was illustrated in certain poems and song lyrics, such as "PreDawn Song" (1960), "Ha Tikva; The Hope" (2018), "The Chosen: YAHSHUA" (1974), "Sad-Eyed Nazarene" (1976), "Yom Kippour" (1995), "The Feast of Tents or Tabernacles" (2010), "I Am" (2016), "His Perfect Simple Plan" (2016), "Welcome Home Gilad Shalit, Born Again at Ya Va Shem" (2010), "Never Again" (2012) and "Masada" (2010).

His fourth published work, Testimony of a Pelhamite, which includes fewer poems and song lyrics, has his performing arts resum , the journal of his and Ginny's 2014 Aliyah with Rabbi Jonathan Cahn and 328 Messianic Jews and Evangelical Christians, and the Jesuit Oath of Induction.

In "Grafted-In," Mr. Murphy traces many of the souls grafted into the Whole House of Israel, and then tells his own story of how, as a first born son, called by YAH to write and preach His Word, he was linked from the day of his birth, spiritually, to the Land and the people of Israel as per the ship Exodus and the hunger strike.

As Mr. Murphy is about to turn 77, he gives special thanks and praise to YAH for Dr. McQuinn and Dr. Vogele, civilian Doctors of WakeMed, Raleigh, NC, who recently saved his life (five hours in surgery) for an abdominal aneurism discovered in March of 2024. He also gives thanks and praise to YAH for the Veteran's Administration's Eye Clinic Surgeon, Dr. Gabriel at the Durham V.A. hospital, who in April 2024 performed cataract surgery enabling Mr. Murphy to read, write, and drive once again.
