In his last days on earth, Jesus commanded his disciples to go into all the world and spread the good news of God's love and grace. It was a commandment that his hearers took seriously. So do we, more than two centuries later. That's why we began the Grace for All daily devotional podcast in 2023, and that's why you are looking at this volume today. More than 40 members of the congregation of First United Methodist Church in Maryville, Tennessee, have participated in the writing, recording, and production of these podcasts and of this book. Here you will find a wide range of ideas, a variety of stories and personal testimonies, and an inspiring multiplicity of voices that, in one way or another, boldly carry on the mission that Jesus gave to all of us. John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, wrote nearly two centures ago that God's grace is free to all and free for all. We are glad to be able to proclaim that message into our 21st century.
