A book of hope that leads readers beyond the frustration and guilt of trying to please others to the charming, liberating grace of God. For the growing number of people who feel that life should be... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This is a tremendous book by Charles Swindoll. I have found it personally enhancing and have used in on numerous occasions in Bible Studies with university age students, who also found it very helpful. The book can be of great assistance to Deacons' Boards and Boards of Management in churches as they deal with people issues on a regular basis. It provides a biblical approach to human resource management issues in broad terms. While it doesn't speak specifically about church discipline to a large degree, this book helps us to understand how God sees each of us and that is usually quite differently than how we see each other. The book speaks of "grace killers" that exists in every church--yes, even yours. I could name a few in my own church. You will enjoy the book. It is exhilarating and invigorating.

An absolute must for believers like me who were trapped in the bondage of legalism. Chuck's writting style is a breath of fresh air and the content is life changing. My only regret is that I didn't have this book in my possession the first moment it came off the press. I am recommending that my church complete the study guide that goes with the book.
