Governments worldwide face a complex landscape marked by short-term crises, long-term priorities, declining public trust, and the pressing need for environmental and digital transformation. Addressing these cross-cutting challenges requires governance systems that are capable of strategic planning, whole-of-government co-ordination, and sustained performance management. Thailand is committed to strengthening its public governance to better manage these transitions, with the net zero goal serving as a test case for improving institutional co-ordination, stakeholder engagement, and policy delivery.
