Then there is security, which was the essence of the formation of nation-states half a millennium ago and which today remains as relevant as ever. Third, there is productivity, which is nothing more than the ability to produce wealth. Finally, social mobility, which ensures that we all enjoy prosperity. To address these four issues, in addition to a succinct conceptual presentation, the book uses the main indicators that researchers, international organizations and think tanks have proposed to address each subject.
