Gossip: You Church Folk Talk Too Much

Gossip is a subject that most will run from. Primarily because it's an active sin that's usually swept under the rug. It's almost considered a guilty pleasure to some. You know it's wrong, but you feel it's not as harmful as murder, so you do it anyway. James 2:10 NLT says,"For the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God's laws." Please understand that my sin is not rated higher than yours, neither is yours considered greater than mine. If we are both sinning when Jesus comes back, we are both going to hell. Churches are full of Gossip. It's time for it to be called out and cast out. The growth of Ministry is being affected. I don't mean the size of your church, I'm talking about the spiritual aspect of the leaders and congregants. Gossip is driving good leaders away from good churches. It's weakening the strength of the young Men and Women of God that have been working in Ministry, who feel they don't have to take this anymore. There is an expectation for them to keep going but no road map to navigate through what is being said. I hope you are enlightened and at the very least informed about the Church Folk you will be dealing with.
