This is a most unusual and interesting book. The text of the four Gospels are arranged into one continuous narrative. This is not a paraphrase of the scripture, it's the actual scriptures, but arranged in chronological order so it's easier to follow. And it's got great diagrams and pictures on almost every page. One of the most interesting parts is a timeline along the top of every page. It starts at 6 B.C. when the angel announces the birth of John the Baptist, to 1 A.D. covering the birth of Jesus, and then year by year through the life of Jesus. to 34 A.D. Then the timeline switches to days of the week as the book covers Palm Sunday through the Last Supper, and then switches to hours as the details of the Crucifixion and Ascension of Christ are presented. There is also an excellent Index and a host of other useful study aids. This book was prepared by the members of the MIMEP Association under the direction of Enrico Galbiati. The cover of this book is a very sturdy softcover, looks like linen but it can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. My copy is 37 years old and looks like new.
