Life-changing

The message, wisdom and Bishop Carlton Pearson's life story in "The Gospel of Inclusion" could change your life. He was a Christian mega-star, host of his own TV show and Oral Roberts' beloved protégé. Then God told him to preach a new message. Pearson told his story titled "To Hell and Back" to Keith Morrison on MSNBC.com. His book shows that all of God's children are already saved by the sacrifice of Christ¾gays, Muslims, Jews, atheists, everyone. Weaving theology, biblical scholarship and cultural history Pearson shows that the dogma of Hell is a device to control the faithful, that authoritarian religion is at the heart of the world's troubles, that God is not a Christian, but indeed belongs to all humankind. Dr. Mark Hanby said Bishop Pearson's book "has nailed a thesis to our church door and demanded reformation. He comes with the spirit of Elijah and the courage of John the Baptist and Paul the Apostle." Pearson says a new more loving life in Christ has opened to him, a life that is not motivated by fear or the threat of Hell. For the first time as a Christian he really not only loves God but has started to like him. Pearson explains, I've always had something to live for. This is the first time I've ever had something to die for."

Religious Freedom

This book demonstrates the difficulty with organized religion. The people involved almost invariably get into "power" struggles, determining who should think what. Evangelical Christians and those who visit "mega-churches" often times get into this way of thinking. The problem is that this stops people from thinking for themselves. Bishop Pearson has thought much about Christianity, and what it can bring to our lives. But he was rejected by his brethern for believing something that they did not agree with. I am glad that he didn't acquiese, but used his struggle to learn more about his relationship to God.

The Gospel of Inclusion

This book is what i have been waiting for. The questions that I've pondered and wanted to ask for so long. We have been taught to believe that we are not to ask questions when it concerns God and his Word. However the true nature of God wants us to ask questions. How can we get answers if we don't ask? How can we being to understand and know God if we don't ask? For so long I was afraid and scared trying my best to Please God I have always felt like a failure always making the same mistakes and never wanting to ask God to forgive me because I felt so bad. I always wondered how could God be so forgiving and then hurtful at the same time. It didn't make since God loves his children so much he never wants to harm or hurt them. So this began a quest for Knowledge and Wisdom and today everything that I've ever been taught I have found to be False, Manipulating, and Deceitful only to control a Nation of people and to keep them blinded to the True Nature and Love of God and what he really did on the Cross. This book is right on Time with the work that God is revealing amongst The Body of Christ today. We are being Deprogrammed to be Reprogrammed by the Oneness of our Creator. This book opens alot of eyes and also captures the true essence of God and his very Nature. I love it and I reccommend it to any individual who has ever had questions but were to afraid to ask. God is waiting with the answers trust him and his power not false doctrine that has tricked and decieved us for Centuries. Its time to Awaken and Live the Life that God intended. Atlanta, Ga 30135

It makes such spiritual sense

This book is wonderful! It was both an "aha" and an "aaaaahhhh" - illumination and relief. Chapter by chapter, I saw finally Christianity making sense. So much of what I knew of Christianity was misinformation and had not made sense to me, and I was starting to look into other interpretations of God. But with this book, and one other I found, I am finally - finally! - finding my faith. True Christianity - what God intended, not all muddled up by man.

Imagine a God of love and nothing less

Imagine having an epiphany. Suddenly, the ministry you'd preached for so long, being one of the most popular and charismatic ministers in the church and of the flock entrusted to your care, had changed. No longer was your mission to teach the gospel of exclusion. Where God's love is conditional and some of his children are doomed. Instead, you now know God is love. For everyone, everywhere. They're saved by that grace of truth even if they don't know Jesus. God is simply love. This minister did have that revelation. And when he sought to teach his flock that truth he was shunned. And his ministry, his church, were ripped from him. A ministry he'd helped to build and to prosper in the light of Christ was no longer his to care for. Why? Because he was branded a heretic for daring to say God does not hate! By those that insist on believing God does hate. And isn't it interesting and pathetic that that happens to be in concert with everyone they hate too!? This book will change lives! This book promises that if all ministers of the word could see God and teach of him and Jesus in this way the world would find peace and we would truly know , in our hearts, what it means when Jesus said; love your neighbor as yourself. This is the first commandment above all and this title and this man is on his way to relating that message for all it's worth. It provides an opportunity, page after page, to realize God loves us. Each and everyone. And for those that have had their hearts broken by the viciousness of exclusivist Christianity this book will help them to love God back. What a blessing this title is for everyone that happens to find it.
