Fun Author for Children

I purchased this book for my nieces' twins. This should be on every child's reading list.

Goodnight Moon is my favorite book for children.

I purchased this book over forty years ago for my daughter. She loved it. As I read the book to her she followed by pointing to the items I was speaking about. Every night we had to read this book. I purchased this book again about six months ago to give to my great niece. Her mother said she loves the book as much as my daughter did.

Lame and conventional; ho-hum.

Ho-hum; this book is dull and same-old.

Missing pages

I loved this book as a kid but when I ordered this copy it arrived with pages ripped out.

Love reading my son a book that used to be read to me as a toddler

This classic book is one of my favorites.

This is an adorable bed time story for toddlers. Bright colors and only a few words in each page leads to great discussions. Board books aren’t a good option for this book.

Engaging book

Ordered the paperback version. The illustrations are big, and my 8 month old loves seeing them. The writing is simple - short sentences and rhyme scheme. I read her this book before bed and naps, and I feel it helps calm her down.

Goodnight Bedtime Story

Thirty something years ago I bought this titled book to read to my little kids at bedtime. It was one of their favorite books. As they grew older my daughter would read it to her two brothers. I got this so my daughter will read to her kids.

Goodnight Moon delights little ones as it gets them ready for sleep.

Children will love looking for the little mouse on each page and the other items mentioned in the story. As the child says "goodnight" to each item and the pages darken, indicating night, they will also slow down, ready for sleep.

Perfect!!

Vey surprised in a good way. Opted for saving the book for when the kids are older. The smell of old library transported me to my elementary school years, a vintage gem. No marks, scratches or anything.

Great for teaching French!

My family loves this book! We read Bonsoir Lune to our toodler, preschooler and middle schoolers (who are taking French). It is a fantastic companion to the English version, which we read before/after the French version. I only wish I could find it in hard cover (boardbook)!

Magia y Calma

Es un libro muy simple que trasmite una magia y una calma especial. A mi hija le gusta mucho y a mi me encanta!. A veces luego de leerlo terminamos deseando "buenas noches" a cosas que se nos ocurren, muchas veces graciosas, con las cuales terminamos a las risas. Claro, en estos casos la calma no se cumple tanto..., pero nos divertimos mucho.

Goodnight Moon encourages a sense of gratitude for whatever is around us. That is a profound and wonderful lesson for everyone to have. Finally, children are fascinated by how another child's room might look. So you also help them to understand the differences among families. How many other books do you know that accomplish so much? Es el favorito de mi hijo de 7 meses. Cuando le leo este libro, se sonrie y presta atencion a los objetos que le voy senalando y ecucha muy atento. En mi opinion, este libro lo deberian tener todos los ninos de edad pre-escolar.
