great bed time book

This is a beautiful goodnight story for toddlers. It's also great for new readers. Both my 3 and 6 year olds love it and we've been reading it as a good night ritual for a couple of years now. The illustrations are very cute and feature a little monkey on each page. The text is simple and soothing. I've started giving this book as a gift to friends who have newborns because I think it's such a sweet book that will grow with the child. Wish i could get hold of Andrew Daddo's Cheeky Monkey book it also looks very cute and fun.

My new favorite baby gift!

I came across this book in the "new books" section at our public library and decided to check it out. This book is more for pre-school aged kids but the illustrations are amazing! DS who is a 7 yr. old "macho-boy" asked me to renew it three times! I've decided that this is going to be my no-fail "new baby" gift :)

A great end to the day!

Brilliant. It's my little boys favorite bedtime book. We read it every night, and as much as I would like to try something else as the last book before bed, I don't want to upset the rhythm this book has created.
