"The sun has set, the stars are out, the animals are in the barn. Time to say goodnight to all the babies on the farm." Babies match the animal with its home and slip the chick into the nest, the lamb... This description may be from another edition of this product.
The “good” condition copy we paid more than $6 for has rips and is missing the animal babies that are you are supposed to tuck into bed as you read the book. They should have been attached to the ribbons coming from the spine of the book, but they have been cut off and one of the ribbons was frayed and looks disgusting. This book is quite pointless without the baby animals, and besides that, is in shabby condition. My daughter has a copy of this book from when she was a baby, and she liked it so much, we wanted to get one for her new baby cousin. She didn’t want to part with her copy, which we managed to keep in excellent condition through a lot of use. I am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase, which basically amounts to a scam because I was sold an item that is useless and not as described. This should be returnable!
Fun book

My 2 year old loves this book. She puts all the animals in their beds and says "night night" and waves at them. It also keeps her entertained for quite a while. The strings get all tangled up but at least you don't lose the animal babies. I highly recommend this book.
Love this book!

I bought this book for my 10 month old. We read it every night as part of our bedtime routine. She loved it so much that I bought 3 more to give out as party favors for her 1st birthday. My friends said they love it too and it was a great idea!
Great Bedtime Book

I have been reading this book to my daughter every night since she was about one month old. She is now 7 months old and kicks, waves her arms, and shrieks when I bring it out of her book basket. By about 5 months, she started putting the babies "in their beds" (she doesn't have the motor skills to voluntarily release the babies, but she puts them on top and I help her push them in). The pictures and rhymes are simple enough for young babies and the concept of sorting the babies to their mothers is stimulating enough for older babies and young toddlers. As a former teacher, I just love this book! Who said reading is a passive activity!?!

What a brilliantly simple book that is interactive and encourages learning. I wish more books were like this. We just bought it today and my 2 1/2 year old loves it already and didn't need time to warm up to this book.
Adorable

This book's wonderful words, precious pictures, and clever concept could bring out the nurturer in the coarsest of daddies and the tiredest of mommies!
