Just what the title claims, only with a nice southern attitude :)

This is my recently deceased mother-in-law's cookbook. Everyone in the family (and it's quite a large family) owns at least one of these cookbooks. And they all need rebinding! It has a permanent holder and takes precedence in my kitchen over 'Julia's Kitchen Wisdom: Essential Techniques and Recipes from a Lifetime of Cooking' (about the same price). Every cook should own both. Louise Newton, the elder, cooked Sunday dinner every Sunday for 40+ years and for 25 of those years, my family joined in from next door. It was the highlight of our week. She made vegetarian dishes when our kids were die-hard vegans and vegetarians, but traditional Sunday dinner was presented for the rest of us. We still find gems in the cookbook and we've been using it since the 70s. You won't go wrong!
