"A Great Gift"

The illustrations in this book are paintings. Artist Jack Terry has captures the essence of a cowgirl and the beautiful countryside they lived on. I grew up on stories of Annie Oakley, and Calamity Jane. There was always something special about a cowgirl. While this book make look like a child's book it is really more of a collector's item. Terry included the stories of Annie Oakley, Molly Goodnight, and many others. There are trivia facts and some entertaining quotes. .
