Mary Porcello has been writing poetry for over twenty years. She first began to write after having lost a child as a way to fight off depression. Then in '99, having her husband pass away, she began to write even more. Sitting closely with the Lord to hear His voice, Mary began working with the homeless which drew more inspiration for her writings. As she continued to seek the Lord, He kept growing her desire to write.When asked about her poetry Mary will say, "very humbly I hear His voice, from Him comes the words." Sometimes she will receive a call or someone will stop by in need of prayer and from there the writing flows. Mary will often cry out to the Lord asking which way to go. He fills her mind with His beauty which leads to the poems in this book.
