Gone in a Flash

Flash fiction describes a very short story which should end with a twist, a surprise, perhaps even a shock.

Creating one hundred word flash fiction stories is a passion of mine.

If my original story begins with a word count over and above the one hundred word limit, I edit, and edit, and edit.

The story always sounds better when I've done that.

I suppose these stories could also be described as micro stories, flashes.

I hope you enjoy them.

Oh, and when the story first presents itself to you, please hide the last line with your hand, a piece of paper...whatever.

We all need a surprise now and then.
