Goldy's Gecko Tales is the final book in the Gecko Tales trilogy, which includes the books, Goldy's Gecko Family and Goldy's Gecko Friends. The fictional stories in the book were inspired by our observations of Goldy and Shortie, a gold dust day gecko couple, their family and other geckos as they stayed in a townhouse in Honolulu, Hawaii. Their adventures include shedding their skins, capturing their meals, meeting adversaries and dreaming of new experiences. When it is finally time for Goldy and Shortie to leave the townhouse, other geckos appear.
