Another winner

I loved loved loved this book. This is one of my all time favorite authors, I have read almost all her books. She gets me every time, within the first chapter I’m hooked. Highly recommend this book and many of her other works.

a sweet read

there’s nothing like a good beach read in the middle of winter, to hide some of your winter blues. elin hilderbrand has become one of my favorite authors, and a go to when i need a mental transport to a warm summer place, though this book didn’t feature the beach much. it is set in (on?) nantucket, which is on my bucket list of places to visit, thanks to elin hilderbrand! this book is about a woman, vivi, who is killed in a hit and run, and up in “the beyond,” she has a “person” and a summer of viewing, with three nudges. i personally believe our loved ones can always see us and have unlimited nudge abilities, but a story needs a limit for good drama. anyway, vivi is an author, a mother of 3 almost all grown children, and she doesn’t really know what’s going on in their lives. from her heavenly seat above, she learns a lot and with her nudges, she helps a lot. i really loved this book. a little inspiration along with a great story.
