inspirational

I loved this book and I am saddened and surprised by the negative comments by some of the others who have posted a review... One was so ignorant as to say "wasted time & wasted life" Melson certainly made mistakes (like the rest of us) but he left us a gift - his story. Each of us has a story and I found his to be quite interesting and very well written. His life was not all rosy. His book did a great job in transporting me to that time, allowing me to submerge my thoughts to the excitement that comes with new adventures, new love and new friendships. The book reminds me a bit of Queer as Folk in that the clubland has always been a place to feel a sense of belonging. At least for me it does.
