Gold River

The stories in this book may appear unrelated, but they are not. I have tried to use flash fiction to throw light on the lives we live as women in different spheres in the African society. We struggle with various issues, but at the end of the day, the African woman is strong, bold and beautiful. It is not exhaustive and it is not intended to be; it is intended to be an eye-opener to what we already know is going on around us. This book is a call to action for women and the men who love them. No woman should be ignored or taken advantage of; I am no feminist but I firmly believe in women empowerment. An empowered woman is a force that changes society for good. This book is the forerunner for the Gold River Club. We will provide help and support for women who need to uphold each other. We believe that where two or three women are gathered together, there should be a listening ear and the sound of laughter.
