Action adventure meets the horrors of surveillance tech!

Edge of my seat for the entirety of this read. Intelligent dialogue, wonderful characterisation and thrilling, realistic scenarios. It’s fast paced, engaging and terrifying. Terrifying in the sense that privacy is a lie; we no longer have any! This book expertly weaves real-life privacy concerns into a fictional narrative, deftly presenting the frightening capabilities of modern surveillance and invisible cost we pay for convenience and the illusion of safety. Loved, loved, loved this. Great premise, great writing, great plot twist and great lesson. As Edward Snowden once stated: “Ultimately, arguing that you don't care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide, is no different than saying you don't care about freedom of speech because you have nothing to say!” And Benjamin Franklin’s famous line: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
