Discovering the Treasure in God’s Word… Sometimes “mature” Christians have taken for granted the understanding of the Bible. But the majesty of God’s giving mankind His Word in Scripture is both miraculous and mysterious. The human mind almost cannot grasp that over the timeline of 1600 years 40 different human beings were supernaturally directed by the Holy Spirit to speak and record God’s plan for mankind. To them perhaps they have benefited from great teachers and preachers, or used commentaries or books to assist them in their efforts to fully understand God’s Word. To be sure, Jesus tells us that the Holy Spirit who will “teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.” (John 14:26) This book is an effort to present to both young people and new Christians a presentation of God’s plan for man to worship and fellowship with Him; and accept His amazing offer of salvation and forgiveness of sin by accepting His Son, Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. What an offer! We can have an abundant life now and eternal life with Him in heaven.
