Great little book!!

We are going thru a time of seeking God's will and direction for our lives. Much of what Dutch said in here we knew, but didn't really Know! But he explains the Chronos & Kairos times in such a way that it all comes into focus. We know God's timing isn't ours, but when you are in one of those waiting times it's easy to get off point. Thanks Dutch! I have bought 4, and going to order more, copies of this for friends going thru these questioning times also.

God's Timing for Your Life (Life Point)This is the first time I read a book by the author Dutch Sheets. He talks about how important it is to obey God's voice when it has to do with His timing for our lives. This book is a short read but is pack with golden nuggets on how to maneuver when times get tough. It encourages us to hold on when things appear to be uncertain and fearful. But we know that God is bring us from glory to glory, from strength to strength and from faith to faith all to insure, that we get to the destiny He has for our lives, in His timing not ours.

Small book, Great Message

"To everything there is a season". We must learn what season we are in, concerning God's plan for our lives. If it is the time to rest, we are not to get involved in a lot of things. Dutch shows us how to learn which season we are in. This is an excellent book, and it can be read in a short time, because it is not a large book.

This little booklet gives a lot of illumination in a very short space. For those who have followed the Lord for some time and not seen the "suddenly's" anticipated; this book expalains that God has ways to bring you to them but that His purpose is not only the event but the transformation along the journey. He explains there is a time between the call of Abraham and the provision of the promise that Abraham would be the Father of a multitude. Excellent transferrence without excessive verbage.

Provides Understanding

The phrase "God's timing" is frequently used when events don't turn out as anticipated. Dutch Sheets explains the terms from Scripture based on the original languages. He discusses in length the various kinds of time referred to in different contexts in the Bible. This book encourages Christians by explaining in a clear way what is meant by God's timing and how one can be assured that seasons of waiting are not exclusive of the plan, but an integral part of the process of obtaining victory God's way. I had read other writers refer to Dutch Sheets favorably, but this was my first Dutch Sheets book to read. Now I'm a fan! One can tell he writes from experience, i.e., that he has grown through the seasons of waiting and preparation and how has something of value to say which benefits a large audience. As he writes in this book, victory for one person results in victory for others.
