It shows how he brought them together as a family unit with support for each other and how their faith in God kept them in time of need and danger. In the face of uncertainty, God had a plan. When it seemed there was no place to go, their faith in God gave them hope that God would provide. Just like in our lives, God will provide when we call on him just as he provided for those in this book.
