Complete. Clear. Concise. Compact.

We use this "promise book" in prison ministry - it is organized by topic, making it easy to use. A review of the categories: love, healing, deliverance, shows that it is complete, pulling together the relevant verses from Old Testament and New. Several promise books fall short on the subject of healing, omitting key passages (Matthew 8:17, Isaiah 53, 1Peter 2:24). This is the only one we have found that is complete along those lines. The book itself is small and easy to carry in a purse or bag. Most importantly, it contains the promises of God for every believer and is an encouragement to anyone who opens the cover. A real gem.

Just What I Was Looking For

This book is a topical reference for finding Bible verses according to what the verse is about. The topics such as love, suffering, grace, etc are listed alphabetically and are followed by one or more verses that pertain to that subject. This makes it easy quickly find a verse for every occasion and important topics covered in the Bible.

WONDERFUL BOOK of Bible Verses!

Like JoAnne, my mom gave me this book when I was going through a tough time in my life. It calmed me as the book contains specific Bible verses that speak to your need at a particular time in your life. It helps to increase your faith. It's also a GREAT companion book to use when studying the Bible. I HIGHLY recommend it!

Encouraging reminder of God's promises

This book was given to me while I was in a crisis. My life was turned upside-down. People had lied and betrayed me. There was nothing or nobody that I could trust, except God. This book offered a catagorized collection of God's promises of hope and comfort that I could hang onto, and it gave me security. Since that time I have used this book like a topical bible to add verses to encouragement cards and have given away a handful of copies to Christian friends in need of a reminder of God's unfailing love. I have a few other versions of promise books, but this one is indispensible!

A small book, yet a big resource for renewing yourself daily

The book highlights some of the more well known quotes from the bible. The text is broken down into subjects areas which highlight personal needs for quick reference. Easy to read and wonderful for the soul. A book which all will appreciate and be touched by.
