The Way the Christian Life is Supposed to Work

This is a thorough look at how to live the Christian life. It is solidly biblically based, contains sound doctrine, and is theologically right on. This is the way Christianity works, when taught and understood correctly, from the Bible. A person becomes a Christian, her sins are forgiven, she belongs to God and is related to Him. So what now? The next life-long phase is called sanctification, becoming holy, which is not easy task. So how do we go about it? What is God's part and what is mine? In short, this well-written and very readable book gives the reader the keys to spiritual growth and progress that pleases God that every Christian needs. There is so much mistaken teaching on this topic that results in a believer struggling, with failure after failure, to live the Christian life without the key element necessary for success, faith in God and in what God has already done within the believer. If you are Christian and want to understand your salvation, what happened when you were saved, and what needs to occur now in your ongoing sanctification. Get this a book, read it and study it. Highly recommended. I wouldn't be without it. I'm currently outlining it and summarizing it, so that I can recall its main points. By the way, one of the authors, Dr. Saucy, is my former seminary professor of theology.
