The concept of radical love refers to a kind of love that is not contingent on the expectation of receiving something in return. A love that is radical is a love that is driven by humanity, compassion, understanding, and a want for a meaningful life filled with appreciation. The kind of love referred to as "radical love" is the sort of love that may be felt for all of humanity, as well as for everything that exists on earth, whether it is living or not, with the perspective that everyone and everything is interrelated and alive.

The origins of radical love may be found in the vast majority of different religious traditions. Every major world religion, from the Judeo-Christian tradition to Islam to Eastern religious traditions like Buddhism, teaches that unconditional love should be practiced by its followers. The leaders of these faiths, including Abraham from the Old Testament, Jesus from the New Testament, the prophet from the Quran, and Siddhartha from Buddhism, all displayed a kind of love known as radical love. The greatest expression of completeness and fulfillment, radical love is also the purest kind of love that may currently be found in the world.

Love may be expressed in a variety of ways, and very few people can say that they are immune to its affects. There are several varieties of affection that may be bestowed onto a partner depending on the nature of their relationship and the stage of their life. The concept of love is one that is ever-present in human life and folklore. What, then, is radical love, among all of the different forms and definitions of love, and how can it assist you in leading a life that has more significance and purpose?
